Wallflower for HomeKit – nxtbgthng GmbH

Wallflower turns an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch into an interactive control panel on the wall, for everyone to use.

* Wallflower is optimized for running 24/7 on your wall and the interface is optimized for controlling what’s relevant the a room or zone that it’s in.

* Wallflower currently supports lights, thermostats and ACs, switches, outlets, contact sensors (doors, windows), and sensors for temperature, humidity, air quality, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon dioxide, light intensity, air pressure and noise.

* When Wallflower is not in use for a while, all the interactive elements are hidden. They show up again, when you approach the device.

* When it’s dark in the room, Wallflower can turn the display way down.

* The more colorful themes won’t dominate the room either: After a period of inactivity they automatically change to a more discrete theme with a dark background.

* All sensor data is drawn into the same graph: Values from multiple sensors are merged intelligently.

* See what’s wrong: All issues for your smart home are conveniently displayed on the top.

* There is no tracking in the app. And no extra analytics beyond the anonymized basics that the AppStore provides for the users that opted in. And we don’t use any invasive 3rd party frameworks either. We don’t want your data, we don’t collect your data; your home is yours, and yours alone.

* Wallflower is based on HomeKit: It uses your existing HomeKit setup that was configured elsewhere and fully supports lights, switches, outlets, contact sensors for doors and windows, thermostats/ACs and various sensors for air quality, humidity, temperature, carbon dioxide, and more. And yes, we’re aware there’s more HomeKit categories – we don’t intend to stop there.

* It’s a public device: All settings are protected against unauthorized tinkering via a passcode or – if your device supports it – with your face or fingerprint. And after a while of not using it, it turns back to the main screen.

* Wallflower makes really great wall clock: The iOS Clock is very accurate when connected to the internet, and you can read it in the dark. We’re serious. Clocks are great.

* Wallflower is based on a flexible system: There are multiple themes shipping with the app, but contact us for more customization: We can build a theme, with your own colors, your corporate font, a custom watch face or even provide hand tailored icons for your devices.

* Attention to Detail: A lot of time was spent optimizing for all possible screen sizes and orientations, polishing animations, making sure it works on old devices, creating icons and even localizing the power outlets, so you see the symbol that’s familiar in your country.

* Of course you can get the latest and greatest iPad Pro, and put it on the wall, but Wallflower also runs on older devices, so you can get a used or low-end iPad or even an iPod touch. Wallflower even runs on iOS 9, though with a reduced feature set.

Ongoing development is supported by a subscription: You can see and try everything without a subscription, but you can’t change any values of your devices. But there is a free trial period that unlocks everything, so you know what you are getting into without risk.

Price may vary by location. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will bit be able to cancel the subscription once activated. After purchase, manage your subscriptions in the App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

$47.99 annually, includes 14 day free trial
$7,49 monthly, no fee trial, for users who don’t want a yearly commitment.
