Robo Blockly – Robo Technologies

PLEASE NOTE: This app requires a Robo Wunderkind robot and a device with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to play. The app is free to play. No Internet connection is needed to play with the app. You can find more information on our website:

The Robo Blockly App introduces children ages 8 to 16 to advanced coding concepts using a block-based, open-ended visual programming language. The intuitive, drag-and-drop coding environment allows children to learn various commands and write complex code for their Robo Wunderkind robots. Robo Blockly follows the natural progression after mastering Robo Live and Robo Code apps: children can learn concepts like variables, functions, operators, and input-output mapping.

– GETTING STARTED: Take on the new coding language using in-app guided project ideas. Invent your own creative projects from scratch and power up your robots with code of different complexity.

– FUNCTIONALITY: The Dock has 9 different categories of coding elements (Events, Motion, Visuals, Sounds, Functions, Variables, Flow, Operators, Sensing). The Robo Blockly app significantly expands childrens’ learning outcomes and programming capabilities, introducing more advanced coding concepts and a possibility to operate numbers.

– UPGRADE YOUR CODING SKILLS: Robo Blockly offers a more complex programming language while the interface is visually familiar to the ones of Robo Live and Robo Code. The app utilizes the familiar colour logic of the product line which makes the transition from one app to another logical and effortless.

– LEARN THROUGH PLAY: Robo Blockly develops logical, computational thinking, and critical thinking skills, as well as helps to get a more in-depth knowledge of the world of technology. It helps to develop math and arithmetics skills as the variable manipulation adds a lot more math into code. A significant increase in functionality allows bringing children’s creativity skills to a whole new level by inventing even more interesting and difficult projects.

Robo Wunderkind was founded in 2013 with the mission of making coding and robotics as simple as playing with building blocks. We believe that learning 21st-century skills starts already in childhood and that it can be fun and adventurous. With this mission, we created Robo Wunderkind – a robotics kits that children aged 5-16 can program. Robo Wunderkind allows kids to learn by playing and experimenting, and it creates an immersive and engaging play experience for children of all ages.
