Poetry Out Loud – The Poetry Foundation

With the Poetry Out Loud app, you can easily find, save, and practice poems for the competition.

Open to currently enrolled high school students from every US state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life.

The app contains 1,000+ poems available to use in the competition. Use the bookmark feature to save them for quick access later when practicing your recitation. The Compete tab also contains all of the relevant information about participating in the contest.

Poetry Out Loud is a partnership of the National Endowment for the Arts, Poetry Foundation, and the state and jurisdictional arts agencies.
