It makes you put in a phone number to receive a verification code for login. I did that, and entered the code and it just hung, with the spinner. Closed the app, rebooted my phone. I even tried deleting and reinstalling. Now upon opening the app I get nothing but a black screen. This was on an iPhone X with latest iOS version. Too bad..
