The app is intended to be use by iPhone X/XS/XSMax/XR users. If you have an iPhone under X, only smile and blinking are available. Also, you will not be able to share photos, but only receive it. Drawing works for all users. We are working on a deeper retro-compatibility and we will add new emojis soon!
