FamilyApp™ chat is like your private hotline for those you care about the most. The messaging service is secure (E2E encrypted) and reliable so you can share important thoughts and information with family members and close friends. FamilyApp™ differs from text messaging and group chat, as it is optimized for communications with your family and family-like groups rather than being simply another social network. You can configure FamilyApp™ to meet your specific family needs. Shortcuts and tools facilitate communications, such as family message boards, private direct conversations, and tools to manage your dependents’ communications with others.
Contact
FamilyApp™ Contact is your directory. It enables you to quickly call, chat or locate members. You can even view your family members’ locations on a map and set notifications for when they’re leaving or arriving at places market by your family, like home or school. You can set up your FamilyApp profile here and even customize how family members connect with you and what information you want to share. You can create different profiles so in one family you are “Uncle Bob” and the next you’re “Dad”. If you’re a family or group admin this is where you can invite new members, setup dependents and identify who are the parents, guardians or caregivers, and set location and event notifications.
