Young children don’t understand the concept of time. They might wake up 30, 40 or even 60 minutes ahead of schedule and think it’s time for breakfast! But guess what? It’s not time for breakfast- it’s time for sleep!
So what do you do? Put them back in bed? Nope. They’re already up and ready to go and thinking about delicious cereal. It’s too late. They’re up, you’re up, and you’ve missed out on precious, precious sleep.
NOT ANYMORE. Let the Sleep Trainer app inform your kids when it’s “time to rise” and when it’s time to stay in bed. All you have to do is set the timer at bedtime.
While it’s time to sleep the app will display a soothing BLUE colored scene. When it’s time to wake up the scene will turn GREEN, informing your child that it’s now time to get out of bed.
Trust me, this thing works. I have 3 year old twins that would wake me up every half hour starting as early as 4am. It drove me mad! But it’s not their fault. They don’t know what time it is! Poor little monkeys.
So, inspired by the many sleep trainer lamps out there, I made this app to teach my kids when it’s time to come get me for playtime. And it worked! Now I get all the sleep I need and my kids stay on schedule. Booyah!
