Supportive Hands – Therapeutic Needs Assessment Application

The Therapeutic Needs Assessment (TNA) Application (the App) focuses on environmental risk that an individual is exposed to or could potentially be exposed to. The App is an enabler for an online Assessment program that supports children, young people, parents, carers and contracted agencies.

The TNA is a data driven capability, providing the assessor the ability to capture, analyse, and share information whilst enhancing targeted support through report identified actions, responsibilities, and time frames.
Before downloading the App please note you must have an active subscription for either the;

• SHANARRI Assessment, and the
• Therapeutic Life Story Work (TLSW) Assessment.

These assessment programs (SHANARRI and TLSW) support the need to incorporate an outcome-based measurement system of interventions and therapies. The App allows you to access the assessments purchased from the Supportive Hands web page (www.supportivehands.com.au) and provides the data collection element of the Programs.

The SHANARRI intervention supports a school, home, residential and juvenile justice setting focused on providing child, young person, adult, family and placement with managed targeted support. The SHANARRI intervention comprising of eight Indicators to be assessed; Safe, Healthy, Active, Nurtured, Achieving, Respected, Responsible and Included.

Additionally, the TLSW assessment supports a facilitated process of a child or young person participating in the TLSW intervention. This assessment comprises of seven Indicators; Achieving and Learning, Physical Health and Development, Emotional Intelligence, How Included the child is, Identity, Ability to Concentrate and Physical Settled, and Attachment to Primary Carer.
