BlindStories – Robert Schrenk

BlindStories is an educational game based on one of our favourite childhood activities. It’s a possibility to train your foreign language skills by writing collaborative stories with users from all over the world.

Remember that game you used to play as a child where everyone writes down one sentence, folds the paper, and gives it to someone else? On the bottom of the page you would end up with the funniest stories. That’s the idea behind BlindStories. Playing this game and using it as an opportunity for learning languages. We see it as a possibility to train the skills language students acquired in school etc. in a practical way.

With BlindStories you can:
=> Create fun stories with your friends, class, or strangers anywhere and anytime.
=> Improve your language skills. By training as much as possible, without any judement or teacher. It’s learning by doing in a pressure free environment, where you can create and join stories in English, German, French, or Spanish.

=> Switch up your language classes. It is also possible to use BlindStories as a teacher and supervise your students studying without being part of the story thanks to our special “Spectator mode”.

=> Get to know new people. Our random training mode allows you to write stories together with people from all over the world who might be trying to learn the same language as you.

=> Share your stories. Like what you created? Why not share it with all your friends over your social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter? Even that is possible with just a few clicks.
