What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. It is best described as a tingly feeling, usually on the scalp but occurring in other parts of the body as well, while listening to, viewing or otherwise experiencing something designed to relax you. Sounds, feelings or visuals that cause ASMR are called “tingles.” Some people may be more or less ASMR-sensitive than others, but even people who do not experience tingles may find relaxation, calm or anxiety reduction from ASMR videos and content.
Everyone is unique, so your experience may be unique as well.
