Liro – Benjamin PLESSIS

Description

From early age, taking an interest in books allows children to begin the process of reading.

Indeed, the kids need to listen to learn how to read and also the language evolution of the child.
Liro aims to facilitate this listening and develop the autonomy of children with books and new technologies by providing a recorder of youth literature that students can listen to at school and at home.
Teachers or parents choose a book from their library, record their voice by reading the story.
Children, by scanning the bar code of the desired book, can listen to the books recorded by the adults.

This application can be used in the “reading corners” of kindergarten classes but also within families: to listen to the books of the school library (recorded by the teachers) or to listen to the books of the house (recorded by the parents).
In a school or a bilingual family, the recordings can also reinforce the learning of another language.
