Leftovers is an app built to support volunteers of the Leftovers organization in Calgary. Leftovers is a not-for-profit organization in Calgary focused on reducing food waste and delivering excess food to those in need. The organization creates routes from food vendors who will have leftover food to service agencies in need of food.
Using this app, volunteers are able to sign up to join Leftovers, sign up for available routes, keep track of their upcoming routes, view a map guiding them to the pick up and drop off locations, and submit route information upon completion. The app also calculates a score based on how much volunteering each user has done, allowing you to compete with friends as you help your community!
