LDS Ward Area Book – Gunnar Andersen

Description

The LDS Ward Area Book is a free tool designed to assist ward councils and auxiliary presidencies in identifying and administering to households with the highest needs. It aggregates over 25 different church-generated reports and creates a heat map of households according to the frequency that a member of a household is found on a report.

・New to a calling? Use the LDS Ward Area Book to quickly understand the current spiritual and temporal needs of your flock.

・Overwhelmed with figuring out where to start? Use the LDS Ward Area Book to prioritize visiting the hundreds of members under your care who you’ve probably never met.

・A visit fell through? Use the LDS Ward Area Book to see who else has high needs nearby that may benefit from a visit.

・Wondering who the less-actives are? Use the LDS Ward Area Book to see which households are not meeting key indicators. These households are most likely your less-actives.

・Wondering who has the highest needs? Use the LDS Ward Area Book, enable the filters related to spiritual and temporal needs, and see which households show up. These households are most likely those who need help.

Here’s a quick overview of what the colors mean:

・Green = one or more members of a household show up on few, if any, of the reports you’re filtering on
・Yellow = one or more members of a household show up on ~50% of the reports you’re filtering on
・Red = one or more members of a household show up on most, if not all, of the reports you’re filtering on
