DESCRIPTION
Increase App assists you in learning to read quickly while maintaining high comprehension and retention. Its sole function is to pace the reader by playing a repeating sound in a user’s headphones while they read. Each full sound played represents one line completed.
USAGE
Using this app is simple. It is a pacer! Put on headphones, pick up a book, and set the speed to a comfortable rate. Then increase the speed a few steps. Read until this becomes normal, then increase it!
TIPS
When reading, it is best if you place your finger under the line of words you are reading and follow along. This trains your eyes to look directly at what your are reading and not get lost.
Also, use the other modes. Level mode (L), the default mode, means the speed will stay constant until you choose to change it. PushUp modes P1, P2, and P3 will automatically increase the sound speed at different rates over the course of 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, it stops, and returns to the original speed, so you can do it again. And once you complete 4 of these rounds, it will stay at this ending speed. This mode is structured to systematically push you faster and faster. Lastly, the Accelerate modes A1, A2, and A3 do the same as the PushUp modes — but they don’t stop. Use these modes when you really want to stretch yourself.
Remember: the key to increasing your reading rate is to practice intentionally, and practice regularly. Start slow and short sessions of training, then grow into longer and faster sessions. You will notice a difference almost immediately — so don’t stop!

This app is intended to either be accompanied by a training course taught by a university, or assisted through a course handbook.
