Description
GraphoGame is a fun, child-friendly tool that helps children to learn letters and letter-sounds. The game is based on an academically studied methodology and has been developed by neuropsychologists and educators to help English-speaking children, including struggling readers, train their first and most fundamental skills in literacy.
GraphoGame teaches children letters, rhymes and teaches them how to connect them into words! Through a variety of fun 3D levels with your own unique player character, the learner gradually moves on to syllables, rime units, short words and gradually learns to spell and pronounce longer words. By playing at least 15 minutes regularly, the child can improve their letter knowledge, pronunciation, reading speed and overall confidence in literacy. At the same time, the game helps parents and teachers by showing analytics of how the child has learned and what letters are difficult, or easy!
GraphoGame was developed in cooperation with the University of Cambridge Centre for Neuroscience in Education and was researched in an efficacy trial funded by the Education Endowment Foundation and Wellcome Trust.
