The food service provider is a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance to food service workers in Georgia through financial assistance and community resource networks.
Based on financial needs and a clear set of criteria, food service providers’ financial assistance grants are eligible for food service workers affected by illness, injury, death or natural disasters.
The Food Service Stabilization Network also links food service workers with national, regional and local social service organizations to meet needs related to housing, transportation, mental health, health care, child health assistance and more.
Anyone is encouraged to use the Food Provider application to recommend food service workers to apply for financial assistance and/or referrals when needed. Food service personnel can also apply directly. The Food Provider app also allows users to view upcoming food service support events and read stories about people who get help and feedback.
