Dhalang Lite is a free and extremely stripped-down version of the full Dhalang MG microtonal music production software. Lite version offers a single analog-style monophonic synthesizer with tuning possibilities to western, pythagorean, chinese, indian, arabic, indonesian and african systems and their preset scales.
Lite version features:
– 6 tuneable oscillators (sine, square, saw, triangle, sinesum and noise)
– Oscillator ADSR envelope, portamento and vibrato/modulator with a LFO.
– Lo-pass and hi-pass filters with ADSR envelopes.
– Amplifier ADSR envelope and overdrive effect.
– Two programmable LFOs with standard and fractal waveforms.
– Two stereo effect units: Chorus and Delay.
– MIDI input from chromatic or diatonic (white keys) scale mapping.
– MIDI cc and pitch bend input control.
– On-screen keyboard that changes according scale dimensions.
– Writeable preset slots.

Wow! Really? VERY COOL SYNTH!
I played around with this for about 4 minutes and already I think it is a 5 star app… With that said (I only played with it for about 4 minutes) so I may find the deadly flaw…but I hope not, I am a sucker for cool synths that offer a lot of personalization so one can make their OWN set of presets.
Thanks Developer! I don’t mind paying money for good apps, I probably have at least 20 of the TOP synths.
