The tour maps are scaled to the online map so you can use it with the offline map, and offer more detailed information than maps of the phone. The offline maps if available will give you the street names around you. The Subway diagram if available is for finding different routes. No matter the complicity of the roads, this app tool will make your life much easier finding your way around. You can tail the app by downloading the city/region of your choice.
Points of attractions if available can be searched by key word of category then plotted with loaded information such as visit duration, ranking, etc.
Restaurants if available can be searched by key word or cuisine type then plotted and highlighted
Lodgings places if available can be plotted on the map with a single tap.
You can do a lot more with the app: find your friends locations on the map, recording your locations then sharing your trips as named trails with friends, fitness, note keeping, timer, etc.
