Au fil des sentiers, vous découvrirez des créations sonores palpitantes et variées, autour de thématiques liée à celle de la paix : la commémoration, le devoir de mémoire(s), la construction d’une paix durable…
En bonus, des photographies, interviews et documents d’archives qui permettent d’aller plus loin dans l’exploration des thématiques.

ll y a cent ans, l’actuel territoire des Yvelines et celui des Hauts-de-Seine ont accueilli les traités de paix de la Première Guerre mondiale.
Que représentent aujourd’hui ces événements pour les habitants de ces territoires ? Comment construit-on la paix aujourd’hui et quels sont les fondements d’une paix durable ?
Les Archives départementales des Yvelines ont proposé à Babette Largo, créatrice sonore, d’inviter les habitants à réfléchir et élaborer avec elle une œuvre autour de ces questions fondamentales, à partir des documents conservés sur cette période. Pendant un an de résidence nomade, à partir de juin 2019, l’artiste a rencontré scolaires, associations, personnes fragilisées, seniors, tissant des passerelles entre ces différents publics.
Chacun a pu ainsi livrer son point de vue et contribuer à une création participative.
L’occasion également pour tous de prendre connaissance des processus de création sonore : choix artistiques, techniques d’expression orale, improvisation, scénarisation, mais aussi partis pris techniques, prise de son, mixage, diffusion… une réelle question d’éducation artistique et culturelle. La production sonore de création est le moyen pour chacun de s’investir dans un processus d’évocation singulier faisant appel à l’imaginaire et au sensible.
Le projet porté par les Archives départementales des Yvelines a été au service des objectifs suivants : contribuer à renforcer la citoyenneté et le vivre ensemble sur le territoire, créer un projet favorisant la convergence entre différentes disciplines, différents publics, différents lieux, dans le respect des droits culturels, permettre aux publics prioritaires de s’approprier des ressources patrimoniales des Archives, de les enrichir de leurs regards et de leurs problématiques, de s’initier à différents outils numériques, d’être sensibilisés à la création numérique.
Ce projet a reçu le soutien de la DRAC Île-de-France.
