El turismo mindful es una nueva tipología turística en la que se basa la Asociación Mindful Travel Destinations y que “busca el equilibrio entre el bienestar físico, la salud emocional y la paz espiritual. Va mas allá del turismo slow y del turismo responsable y busca el lujo en la sostenibilidad integral, en la conexión entre lo material y lo espiritual, en el camino hacia la innovación sin abandonar la tradición”.
TRAILS FOR PEACE
Un ejemplo real y visible del concepto de viaje mindful es la iniciativa Trailsforpeace, red internacional de senderos ya presente en España y Colombia que aglutinan los elementos esenciales de la meditación y el mindfulness, el fomento de la desconexión tecnológica, el turismo slow, los baños de bosque y los baños de silencio”
Trailsforpeace es un proyecto de caminos para fomentar la paz integral en el mundo a través de la salud y la paz interior de las personas, a través del senderismo y las actividades en la naturaleza una sociedad más saludable, combinando el equilibrio entre cuerpo, mente y alma (corazón) y que ésta ayude a fomentar la paz en el mundo a través de la paz interior de las personas.
LA APP TRAILSFORPEACE EXPERIENCE
Trailsforpeace experience, va a mostrar en una aplicación móvil los caminos que se van señalizando y poniendo en valor, de manera que permita a los turistas conocer dónde están esos caminos, los puntos de interés de los mismos y un juego en 3D que los gamifica y premia a los turistas más solidarios.
Además esta app tendrá una serie de beneficios e impactos positivos siguiendo la filosofía del proyecto:
● La app permitirá generar una comunidad de viajeros y caminantes por la paz
● Dispondrá de las rutas geolocalizadas con los puntos de interés
● Los puntos obtenidos con la gamificación podrán servir como inversión en ONGs de la zona mediante patrocinios
● Se podrán dejar mensajes o pensamientos mientras haces la ruta en el apartado de valoraciones de cada punto de interés
Puede resultar paradójico que se use la tecnología en un proyecto que pretende alejarse de la misma para encontrarse a uno mismo. Pero, en realidad, este proyecto es coherente con esta filosofía, ya que hay que tener en cuenta que la app no es un navegador y, por tanto, no se geolocalizarán líneas y rutas, sino puntos de interés. El objetivo es identificar el principio y final de cada camino y los puntos de interés, de modo que el turista, en el trayecto entre éstos, guarde el móvil y disfrute del propio camino. De este modo, la tecnología se mantiene como una herramienta de apoyo al servicio de un fin y no al contrario.
El primer camino que aparece en la app es el de La Jarosa, en la Sierra de Guadarrama (Madrid, España), al que seguirán muchos más, conforme se vayan creando esos caminos aparecerá en la aplicación móvil con una clara vocación internacional.
