I like this app a lot. You get to read, listen, or watch a story which is really interesting because it allows for a 360 immersive experience. You can be on the bus reading a chapter and instantly switch to the audio sync at that point and continue on with the story while you walk. Or maybe you’re reading with your kids and have to them drive a car and want to continue the story, now you can.
I think there are so many cool and interesting possibilities with this app and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
The ICanReadThat app is designed to help users develop reading skills. Simply take a photo of your page, or select from your photo library, and ICanReadThat will read the text to you while highlighting each word as it is spoken. You can start, pause, restart or slow down the reading pace to help follow along.
Copy and paste words, sentences or paragraphs of the text into the scratchpad area to listen to just that portion. Use the “Look Up” function of the Copy/Paste menu on individual words to view on-line definitions.
Modify the text that ICanReadThat is reading. Just tap the Edit button on the Read It page and change the text and Save.
