We are proud to introduce worlds first complete diabetes care app, My DiabetesConnect(Diabetes is not just about blood glucose).
While the main aim of Diabetes care is blood glucose control, it is only one aspect of diabetes management. There are so many Apps/resources out there which helps people improve their blood glucose control. But there is no single App/resource where all aspects of Diabetes care is brought in to one place. Almost all the apps on the market are purely focused on 1-2 aspects of your diabetes care.
This is where My DiabetesConnect comes in to play. This App offers people the opportunity to store and track their health data for a small yearly subscription. It will also graph all your data and show what your targets are as well as your current standing in relation to such targets.
My DiabetesConnect will also feature a single screen that will act as a dashboard where you will be able to get a quick snapshot of your current diabetes care.
This is only the first step in what we hope will be a long journey to give access to high-quality diabetes care, similar to what’s found in the developing world.
The dashboard:- With this one screen you can see an overview of your diabetes control with colour-coded tiles that change colour to indicate which aspects need urgent action/above target/at target. The tiles will also notify when a certain test is overdue. Now you are in complete control.
BMI Screen- App will auto calculate your target weight once you enter your height and you will be able to easily see your progress in achieving these target.
Blood Glucose Screen:-Easily track your blood glucose over weeks/months. Know when you are low or too high. See the trends and you can make specific changes to improve your blood glucose.
HbA1c Screen:- Track your HbA1c over a number of years and you can easily track your progress, after all, Diabetes is all about trends.
Blood Pressure:- Now it’s easy to track your blood pressure with My DiabetesConnect, know when it is too high and you can see trends over months/years.
Kidney Function (Blood test):- Track your kidney function overtime to make sure they are healthy. See the trends and know early if kidney function is deteriorating.
Kidney Function(Urine test):- Often this is the first sign of trouble that would indicate diabetes is starting to affect your kidney. Knowing early can help your doctor treat early and prevent/delay kidney failure.
Cholesterol:- Track your cholesterol over months/years. It’s all about trends.
Eye and Feet Check:- Keep a track of your eye and feet screening. The App will remind you when you are due for your next eye appointment.
