This Southern Hemisphere Atlas will help you learn about all the 32 countries that are entirely below the equator.
It teaches you about their Capitals, Currencies, Languages and a bonus fun fact, hand picked by me. It also points you to where those countries are on the map, and gives you a colorful visual of their flag.
Also included is a sneak peak at an amazing picture about that country, that will hopefully entice you to go visit it.

You can scroll to find a country or you can use the search to find a country in southern hemisphere. Curious about which countries take dollars ? Well the search bar searches through capitals and currencies as well !

Амблиопия, «ленивый глаз» – это обратимое снижение остроты зрения вследствие функциональных расстройств зрительного анализатора. При этом головной мозг не способен совместить картинки, которые воспринимаются каждым глазом отдельно, в одну объемную, в результате чего подавляется работа одного глаза и теряется глубина восприятия.

Еще несколько лет назад офтальмологи не располагали эффективными способами лечения амблиопии, в частности у детей. Традиционное лечение амблиопии у детей требует терпения и выдержки от родителей, которые должны окружить ребенка вниманием Как один из методов терапии применяются нагрузки на амблиопичный глаз за счет «выключения здорового глаза» с помощью повязки или путем введения капель атропина в здоровый глаз. Таким образом можно обеспечить визуальное преимущество амблиопичного глаза и повышение остроты зрения, но отобрать у ребенка возможность полноценно взаимодействовать с миром. Ношение очков при амблиопии позволяет восстановить согласованную работу глаз, но не возвращает стереоскопическое зрение. Использование рутинных упражнений (например, отследить путь через нарисованый лабиринт, рисование линий на бумаге и т.д).является слишком вялым и скучным, поэтому дети часто отказываются от такого лечения.

Приложение Okolo Spider было создано с целью веселого и интересного лечения амблиопии, восстановления и развития бинокулярного зрения. В основу положены методы плеоптики, ортоптики и диплоптики.

Стимуляция органа зрения производится структурированными динамическими изображениями, которые побуждают ребенка удерживать взгляд вблизи центров подвижных радиальных и спиральных решеток. В результате макула и периферия одновременно возбуждаются стимулами оптимальных размеров: макула – мелкими, периферия крупными. Это приводит к активизации визомоторной деятельности, конвергенции и аккомодации. В процесе игры стимулируются все типы фоторецепторов, а также on- и оf-нейроны за счет различных настроек и цветовых переходов. Продолжительность одной игры составляет 5 минут.
Мобильное приложение для лечения амблиопии позволит Вашему ребенку достичь хороших результатов терапии в игровой форме и в домашней атмосфере, сэкономит Ваше время и деньги на лишних посещениях офтальмологических центров. Тем не менее, важно, чтобы приложение использовалось под присмотром и при регулярном посещении врача.
