Située au numéro 6 de la rue Alexandre Fleming à Pont-à-Mousson, la mosquée Badr Littéralement “Lumière éclatante de la pleine lune” est un lieu de culte et un espace culturel ouvert à tous. Elle a été érigée en 2008 grâce à un appel aux dons et au concours de la mairie de la ville. Elle est ouverte tous les jours, 30 minutes avant chaque prière quotidienne.
Composée de 2 salles de prière d’une capacité totale de 300 fidèles, la mosquée Badr se présente donc comme un espace cultuel et spirituel à la fois, puisque, au-delà de sa dimension religieuse permettant à chacun et à chacune de pratiquer sereinement sa foi dans le respect de la charte républicaine, elle œuvre également à l’instauration du dialogue interculturel à travers de nombreuses actions.
