潮の満ち引きの大潮・小潮、月相の満月・新月、釣り・潮干狩り・サーフィンにおすすめの時期など、マリンレジャー向けの海専用の情報カレンダーアプリです。
潮干狩りならば、大潮の干潮に行ったほうが潮がよく引いており、潮干狩りをする場所もその分増えていています。
釣りならば、大潮でよく潮が動いていたほうが魚の活性が高くよく釣れるかもしれません。
マリンレジャーにとって、潮の状況は大きく影響しますので適切な日・時刻にでかけられるといいですね。
潮名とは、海で仕事をしている人が潮の具合を表すために作った言葉だそうです。潮の変化を的確に把握するため名前がつけられ現在も使われ続けられています。
海に関係する人たちにとっては、私達が使っている曜日のようなものなのでしょう。
大潮->中潮->小潮->長潮->若潮->中潮->(大潮へ戻る)
ただし、大潮は「満月の大潮」と「新月の大潮」で交互に繰り返します。

潮名方式：旧暦より計算
潮名の決め方には実はいくつかあります。当社で把握しているものでは 旧暦、月齢、気象庁、MIRC の４つです。
当アプリでは「旧暦」を用いた潮名を表示しています。これは新聞や釣具屋さんのカレンダーなどがこの方式を用いており一般的に使われているものだからです。

— 潮名(しおめい)について —
■ 大潮
潮の干満の差が大きい状態
新月(旧暦の1日頃）と満月（旧暦の15日頃）の前後数日間
■ 小潮
潮の干満の差が小さい状態で、月の形状が半月となる上弦
上弦(旧暦の8日頃)や下弦（旧暦の22日頃）の前後数日間
■ 中潮
大潮と小潮の間の期間
(旧暦3日～6日、12日～13日、18日～21日頃)
■ 長潮
上弦・下弦を1～2日過ぎた頃、干満の差が一段と小さくなり、満潮・干潮の変化がゆるやかで、だらだらと長く続くように見える小潮末期
（旧暦の10日と25日）
■ 若潮
小潮末期の長潮を境に大潮に向かって、潮の干満差が次第に大きくなっていく、このように潮が再び大きくなる状態を「潮が返る」ということで長潮の翌日を「若潮」と呼びます
— 月の満ち欠け(朔望) —
月の満ち欠け「朔望=さくぼう)」は、「朔」は新月、「望」は満月です。
太陽と同じ方向にあるある場合は新月、反対方向にある場合は満月となります。そして、その間には上弦の月、下弦の月と言われる半月があります。
