1. Free Campground offed by National, State, County or Regional Park, Forest Service land, BLM (Bureau of Land Management) areas, WMA’s (Wildlife Management Areas and many other free public campsites. These campgrounds are usually boondocking locations and in many cases, they are the most beautiful and peaceful sites. These places are RVer’s favorite.

2. Truck Stops. Truck stops such as FLYING J, Pilot, TA, Loves, AMBest, Petro et. al. are RVer’s best friend. They usually offer every possible service a RVer could desire, free or for a very reasonable price: dump station, gasoline, ATM, grocery, vehicle maintenance and repair, RV wash, TV lounge and game room etc. It is nice to find such a place when you are tired, hungry and need some sleep.

3. Casino. Many Casino offer free overnight parking. Some of them are pretty good.

4. Chain Stores including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot etc. There are some Walmart that ban overnight parking while most of them allows. We have carefully removed those not allow overnight parking.

5. Other such as local restaurants, nonprofit organization campground, empty land etc.

In this app, we have gathered all of these locations and informations. We show them on the map. User can easily browse what is available nearby on the map or search by location.

Ants are social insects that live in colonies. A queen spends her life laying eggs, most of which grow into workers. During a short period of the year, when it is time to start new colonies, some eggs grow into virgin males and queens that are winged. These virgin males and queens participate in nuptial flights where they form a mating ball in the air. Males from one colony mate with queens from other colonies. After mating, the males die. The newly-mated queens rip off their wings and search for new homes to start their colonies.

Our project has two goals. First, we want to enable scientists to use the timing of ant nuptial flights to monitor environmental changes on a global scale. Second, we want to help people collect ants in a less destructive and disruptive manner.

To achieve these goal, we have developed AntNupTracker as a tool for reporting ant nuptial flights from the field. Using this app, we are building an open and publicly-accessible database of ant nuptial flight records. This database can either be browsed in the app, online or downloaded in the format of your choice. Whether you are a beginner or a professional myrmecologist, we invite you to share in our passion for ants and contribute to this citizen science project!

* UPLOAD your chosen memory. Press the Select image button and select a photo or video or from your phones camera roll.

* SHARE YOUR MEMORY with others by clicking on the slider bar under the uploaded image. This allows your friends and family who scan your interactive memorial jewellery to view the special memory you have uploaded. All they need to do is download the app and scan the QR tag on your jewellery. They can then view your special memory. If you would rather keep your uploaded memory private just leave the slider bar and it will remain a private memory just for you to see when you scan the QR sticker with your phone.
