With the press of ONE BIG RECORD BUTTON the VideoSaver Service (VSS) records and saves video, audio, GPS and time to our secure cloud location. Each recording is permanently archived on VSS.
Why do I need this service?
You are walking to your car at night and you hear footsteps.
You are at a party with new and old friends and feel dizzy. You’re not sure your last drink was kosher!
You are somewhere new and you get that feeling in your gut… something’s-not-right-here…
When you sense any sudden hostility from anyone!
When you want a permanent record, on any occasion.
For example:
Live on a college campus? Domestic violence? Gut feeling something is about to happen. Young children during unsupervised periods (walking to and from school, after school, babysitting, dog walking, etc).
VideoSaver is age appropriate for anyone who can operate a smart phone.
How to use in an emergency:
1. Open the app then press the record button.
2. Press the device’s home button to immediately send texts to your preset emergency contacts. (Texts will also be triggered if the PIN is entered incorrectly or your device is shut down or damaged.
3. To NOT send the texts, press STOP and enter the correct PIN.
What happens after you press the record button?
Immediately, your current location and time are sent to VSS. As the audio and video are recording, it is uploaded to VSS! Once the recording is received by VSS, IT CAN NOT BE REMOVED!
If the video is interrupted in any way while it is recording, your list of trusted contacts (that you have easily preset in the app) are sent text messages with your current location and a link to the video you just took. These messages are sent via SMS directly from VSS, NOT from your phone.
When you start recording a video with VideoSaver, and your phone is taken from you or destroyed, the alert to your trusted contacts will still be sent because the recorded information is already securely stored on VSS!
When you stop recording the video, your location and video will be saved on our service. If you enter the correct PIN nothing is sent to your contacts. If entered incorrectly, the alert is sent.
