하늘나무교회는 한국기독교장로회 경기노회에 소속된 교회입니다. 경기노회의 지원으로 호매실에 부지를 매입하였고, 건물이 없는 땅 위에서 2014년 6월 29일 개척파송 목사인 정한주목사의 예배로 하늘나무교회가 창립되었습니다. 교회 창립 후 2015년 6월 28일 한국기독교장로회 하늘나무교회는 노회의 승인을 받아 교회로 정식 설립인가를 받았습니다.
