Organized by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, the objective of “Hong Kong International Youth Chinese Music Festival” (HKIYCMF) is to create a meaningful, cultural activity for all young people so that they will be able to perform with a professional orchestra as well as orchestras of other regions, conduct musical exchange, and develop a wider spectrum of ensemble playing techniques. The youth will be able to gain deeper insights and understand their own cultural identity better. The Festival will enhance the love of those who already love Chinese music, and initiate those who have yet to know Chinese orchestral music, thereby broadening the audience base and ensuring the continuum and development of the art form. HKIYCMF app provides free music scores download, most updated performance news and a platform for everyone to participate in the Chinese Music Clips 40s short video competition. This app aims to provide a convenient, interactive way to spread and promote Chinese music culture.
