CALC 1 Financial Calculator – CalcFxC, LLC

Description

√(2 × 10000 × 2 ÷ (8 × 2 ÷ 100))

Most of the calculators on the App Store are copies of old hardware calculators where it is up to you to enter this type of expression with it’s values EVERY TIME you want to calculate something. Economic order quantity in this example.
Want to change the annual demand? Enter the ENTIRE EXPRESSION, again, and hope you don’t get a value, operator or parenthesis wrong.

Look above at the screenshot of the CALC 1 Economic Order Quantity Function Calculator. Just one of dozens of Function Calculators included. The expression is pre-programmed in a great calculator so you only need to key in the parameter values and press the “Q” key.

-A preview of the values is right on the key, so you can easily verify them.

-Tap the “?” button for documentation, examples and reference links.

-Not sure what the “P” is for? Press and hold the key and the hint “The purchase unit price, unit production cost” will appear on the display. All CALC 1 keys have hints.

-If you want to understand how the fixed cost per order changes the quantity, you only need to change that one value and press the “Q” key to evaluate.

-CALC 1 Function Calculators can ‘solve’ for inputs.

-You can also easily graph the expression by entering the minimum and maximum values.

-Every calculation is recorded in the CALC 1 “history” so you can review the results, restore past scenarios and share the results to Notes, Messages, Mail, and more.

With CALC 1, you can think more about the problem, and less about the math so you can make the best choices.

By the way, CALC 1 is also great at crunching number when you need to.

Often times math functions, unit of measure conversions, currency conversions, probability and statistics are also needed to analyze problems.

CALC 1 has separate calculators for;

Time value of money with amortization
Cash flows
Percentage calculations (markup, margin, percent change, +tax…)
Statistics, regression and more.
Standard slide rule functions (trig, log and more)
Quick toolbar access to UOM and currency conversions.

Each calculator can then be “focused” on that task so you have more functions for that area.
Since they all share the same data, you can easily switch between calculators (usually just by “swiping” the display) when working on problems that require more than one discipline.

Downloading additional calculators is free, as it has been since 2010.

Did we mention that CALC 1 is great at crunching number?

CALC 1 supports chain, algebraic and RPN calculation modes.
Undo and redo of just about every function and expression to easily recover from mistakes. Can you believe that many calculators don’t have Undo?!
CALC 1 keeps a history of your calculations so you can verify, share and restore the results.
CALC 1 has “Key Previews” on all STO/RCL keys so you can see values at a glance right on the keys.

The Options, List Manager, History, UOM and Currency Conversions are all easily available from the tool bar.

For the sake of appearances;

The Styles manager lets you choose from a set of screen and key images. Millions of choices.
CALC 1 adjusts font sizes to your iOS Dynamic Type preference. It also has a separate option for button font size to take advantage of todays larger devices.
CALC 1 fully supports iOS Auto Layout for portrait, landscape on regular and plus size iPhones, iPad and iPad split screen options.

For those of you who need more convincing that 21st century technology is better;

We include 12C and 10bii reproductions. These are faithful reproductions without the “awkward additions” you find on many of the copies on the App Store. They share data with CALC 1 so you can switch back and forth between CALC 1 and the HPs. So, for example, you can calculate a loan payment with a HP then navigate to the CALC 1 amortization calculator to create a amortization table or graph without having to re-enter the data.
