Coin Up is an innovative mobile app that transforms the way people donate to charities. Through Coin Up, you can contribute your “spare change” to causes you are passionate about, every time you use your credit or debit card.
Our simple three-step process allows you to select your charity and donate with ease:
1. Select your charity by name, zip code, or category.
2. Enter your banking information – all information is encrypted and secured by bank approved, MFA servers.
3. Set your monthly limit.
How does this all work?
Every time you make a purchase, our app will round up your transaction to the nearest dollar. This spare change is added up and your card will be charged once a month when you reach your monthly limit, or at the end of the month, whatever happens first. Your donations will be sent directly to your charity, net of our transaction processing fees. Your charity receives the donations each month for immediate impact.
In addition:
-Coin Up allows you to track your monthly purchases, round ups, and ongoing monthly donations.
-Donors will receive a monthly snapshot at the end of each month to see the impact of their donation for their cause.
-Donors can share the impact of their giving by posting directly on social media.
-Donors receive a tax donation receipt at the end of the year for their contribution.
