This augmented reality application is used to demonstrate procedure at a chemical plant. The user must first identify the appropriate personal protective equipment and then verify that they are wearing that item. Then they are directed to perform the ‘bleed valve block and plug procedure’. There are various helpers that assist them in completing the task. There is a glow feature that will illuminate the valve that they need to check, a gaze feature that will allow them to look at the object to interact with it and finally a directional helper that shows them where to go.
