With around half a million followers on Facebook (www.facebook.com/theweekendleader), The Weekend Leader is fulfilling its objective by publishing inspiring stories of change agents, and success stories of entrepreneurs/ startups.
The Tamil Edition of The Weekend Leader (www.tamil.theweekendleader.com) was launched in April 2017 and the Hindi edition (www.hindi.theweekendleader.com) in December 2017.
Another Group publication, The Lead Star, a print annual magazine, printed on glossy art paper that has the feel of a coffee table book, was launched in 2015. The magazine carries the best stories from The Weekend Leader and is circulated among CEOs, top corporate executives, civil servants and school/college students.
Vinoj Kumar is a recipient of the prestigious Statesman Rural Reporting Award in 2006. In a journalistic career that began in the early 1990s, he has reported for a wide range of publications including Mid-Day, Dainik Bhaskar, and Tehelka. After a five-year stint in Tehelka, initially as principal correspondent and later as special correspondent, he resigned his job in 2010 to launch The Weekend Leader.
