Peñalosa – antonio martinez garcia

Description

In the north of the province of Jaén, in the foothills of Sierra Morena and El Rumblar, a few kilometres from the municipality of Baños de la Encina, we find the Argaric settlement of Peñalosa.

Dated in II Millennium B.C, we can say of it, that it is one of the most significant archaeological mineral-metallurgical sites of the Bronze Age of the Iberian Peninsula.

Daily life took place in spaces of rectangular or oval shape. Here, they made the tools, ceramics, tools, weapons and utensils they needed, and where they would finally rest their remains when they died.

In this application we show the virtual recreation of different places and the way of life of the people who occupied the village 4000 years ago.

It includes the possibility of using the gyroscope or cardboard to visualize the different spaces.
