The myOptions app – formerly called Admittedly – is the most comprehensive college planning app that not only matches you to ideal colleges and universities, but also helps improve your chances of acceptance and completion with personalized advisory content based on your grade level.

Features:

College Match – The new College Matching feature helps you find schools based on your interests, passions, and goals. You’ll fill out a brief survey indicating either your school preferences or your deal breakers – i.e. things you’re NOT looking for in a school – and we’ll match you with schools that are the best match for you.

Your Schools – You’ll be able to sort through your list of schools and hide the schools you’re not interested in and save the schools you love to create a customized list, which you can share with your parents, college counselors, mentors, and friends (or just keep for yourself)!

Your Chances – We know that deciding where to apply has a lot to do with how likely you are to get accepted, but we also want YOU to know that there are a ton of elements that factor in to your likelihood of admissions. We won’t give you an exact percentage, but we will categorize every school on your match list into the Stratosphere, Reach, Target, Safer, and Safest categories so you have a better idea of your chances of admission.

School Search – We’ve added several new data points for each of the colleges and universities in our app to help you make the best decision possible. You’ll now be able to search for majors, percent of students graduating, percent of students returning for their sophomore year, percent of students who go on to grad school, as well as more details about school diversity and cost.

Personality Quizzes – We know that navigating the college search process can be daunting and you might not actually know what it is you’re looking for in a college yet. We’ve designed personality quizzes with a PhD in personality psychology to help you determine the right features for you. Want to know whether you’d do better at a big school or a small school or whether an urban or suburban environment is better? Our quizzes will do just that.

Improve Your Chances – You’ll be able to access our extensive assortment of over 500 pieces advisory content ranging from how to fill out the FAFSA to what not to write your college essay about, all written by former admissions officers and college advisors.

Student Spotlights – You’ll get an inside peek into what it’s really like to be a student at your dream school with our student spotlight features written by current college and university students on a variety of campuses.
